Heather Clouse
Patient Account Specialist

Heather joins PedsOne from the “Sooner State” of Oklahoma, where she lives with and cares for both of her parents. Tristan, her son, is in his early 20’s, and they have two dogs, Maple, an Anatolian Shepherd and Nugget, a Corgi/Terrier mix. To round out the family, and last is certainly not least, they have a kitty named Pickles!
In Heather’s valuable spare time, she loves to read, do arts and crafts, bird watch, and spend quiet time in nature. She also loves taking care of her plethora of plants, in addition to watching crime shows (she joins a large number of PedsOne Staff who also have a propensity towards true crime).
Before joining PedsOne, Heather was a nurse for 23 years working in the fields of Dialysis, long-term care, home health care, and Pediatrics. She became a nurse at 19 and was the youngest student in her nursing class! In spite of feeling like math wasn’t her strong suit, she was awarded the highest math score in her class!
Heather loves working at PedsOne! Her favorite part of her position as a Patient Account Specialist, is working with, and helping parents over the phone because she really enjoys talking to people and helping them. She loves her teammates, and considers them family as they brighten her morning when she logs on for the day!
“So last week, I received my very first Razzie award from SOAPM “Razzie” committee of the AAP! I was awarded the “Man Gave Birth to Practice” award! Needless to say, I was very surprised and honored! I want you all to know that this award also belongs to my PCC and PedsOne families as it does to me for all of you helping me “push” and deliver a wonderful new practice – from our initial kick-off to our go live date! Thank you so much again for all your help over these past months – and I look forward to continuing to work with PCC and PedsOne in helping “raise” my practice! ”
