Melissa brings a wealth of experience to the PedsOne team, joining from eastern Virginia. A native of Guam with family roots in the Philippines, she spent the first half of her life in Southern California. Melissa’s life is centered on her faith, family, and friends, and she treasures time spent with her husband, their four children, and their dog. An avid supporter of her children’s many activities—ranging from baseball and soccer to volleyball, field hockey, and cross country—she is proudly known as their most enthusiastic cheerleader. Whether they are taking road trips, exploring nature trails, cheering on the New York Mets, or discovering new local restaurants, Melissa embraces every opportunity to be with her family.
Before joining PedsOne, Melissa built a strong foundation in medical office administration while working in neurology and anesthesiology patient care settings. After earning her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential, she transitioned into medical billing at a private family practice. She is deeply dedicated to ensuring accurate billing processes and is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate service at every step.
