Amanda brings over 20 years of dedicated experience in the optometry and ophthalmology field to the PedsOne team. Starting her career as a file clerk during high school, she steadily advanced into management, gaining comprehensive expertise in insurance verification, patient relations, and optical services. Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Amanda earned her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential in 2024, successfully pivoting her professional focus to the complexities of medical billing.
Since joining PedsOne, Amanda has felt an immediate sense of belonging. She is deeply impressed by the company’s collaborative culture and unwavering commitment to positivity, which she views as a gold standard for business. She thrives in the team-oriented environment, where providing exceptional service to clients and patients remains the primary mission—a value she has championed throughout her entire career.
A native Texan, Amanda enjoys a busy and fulfilling life with her husband and their two children. Her family journey has been filled with pride, particularly watching their children excel in their school’s FFA program, where they have traveled extensively to show livestock. Outside of the office, Amanda embraces her creative side; whether she is crocheting, refinishing furniture, reading, or cooking for loved ones, she is always active. Her home is made complete by her lively “fur crew”: dogs Charlotte, Willow, and Waylon, and cats George and Kitty.
