With over 27 years of experience in pediatric office administration, Althea brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the PedsOne team. Her extensive career began at the front desk and evolved into expertise in medical billing and coding. She earned her credential as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and previously served as an office manager, where she honed her skills in practice operations.
Now working remotely with PedsOne, Althea values the collaborative company culture, the support of the remote community, and the emphasis on employee wellness. She appreciates the ability to connect with colleagues and the strong sense of belonging that defines the PedsOne environment.
Outside of the office, she enjoys a full life with her husband of 40 years, their two sons, a daughter-in-law, and her grandchildren, with another on the way this August. An avid animal lover, she shares her home with two black cats, Sophie and Hundo. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and playing tennis.
